Hey, I'm Ruth!

I developed a passion for wellness and the mind-body connection seven years ago, and transformed my own life. The journey to self-discovery and healing was ignited after my family experiencing multiple deaths in the one year and from personally facing a health scare. It was then that I realised that my body was responding physically to trauma. The opportunity to become a personal trainer and coach highlighted how individuals often struggled with work-life-balance, an all or nothing approach with food, critical self-talk, poor body image, low confidence or not feeling fulfilled in their work and relationships. Therefore, I decided to study Occupational Therapy, graduating with a first-class honours and now dual trained in physical and mental health.

The goal of our health and wellness coaching is true transformation – mind, body and soul. Together we’ll work to develop the tools and resources you need to take back your health, so you can live a happier, more productive and fulfilling life.

Our lives are becoming increasingly busy, burn out is on the rise, as is mental health concerns. Life and Wellness Coaching helps to transform individuals inside out; to overcome limiting beliefs, find balance and be equipped with positive coping mechanisms.  After we define what healthy is for you, we’ll work to develop a plan that’ll get you there. Ruth will be your side to keep you motivated and accountable as you work through blocks and beliefs that keep you stuck, so you start to embody the picture of health and live the life you once thought out of reach.

I have combined my own experience, science based knowledge and compassion into life and wellness coaching to help others unleash their fullest potential. I have experience with both male, female, all age groups and supporting staff wellness.

My approach to health, wellness and stress is a bit different. It’s not about eliminating the sources of stress or facing trials, which are futile. It’s about helping you recover from the daily stressors in your life, learning to protect yourself from additional stressors and building resilience so you can adapt and maintain health.

A customised wellness, stress recovery and resilience program co-created together based on your specific vision, goals, and preferences.

Consistency

Regularly scheduled sessions each week and consistent connection over program duration to ensure you have the consistency to develop new habits.

Accountability

You likely know what you need to do. Doing it is the hard part. As your coach, I’ll provide the accountability to finally make the changes you desire.
